Empowering through vocational training and building sustainable careers

The Learn to Earn project is a flagship initiative designed to provide our beneficiaries with practical, short-term vocational training courses that can be completed within six months. Funded by the Irish Society in Uganda, this project aims to equip individuals with the skills needed to secure employment or start their own small businesses. By focusing on short-term courses, CADAC can offer more affordable and accessible training, making it easier for beneficiaries to transition into the workforce quickly.

  • Provide beneficiaries with targeted skills in high-demand areas.
  • Reduce the financial and time burden associated with conventional vocational training.
  • Facilitate immediate employment or entrepreneurship opportunities.

We are currently enrolling five new beneficiaries, referred by Kawempe Home Care, who will begin their training shortly. Stay tuned for updates on their progress and success stories.

In addition to short-term courses, CADAC also offers long-term vocational training for beneficiaries who require more extensive education to achieve their career goals. These programs, which typically span 1-2 years, are designed to provide in-depth training in specialized fields such as healthcare, information technology, and skilled trades.

  • Offer comprehensive training that covers both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Prepare beneficiaries for sustainable, long-term employment.
  • Partner with local educational institutions to provide accredited courses.

We are actively seeking partnerships with vocational institutes and potential sponsors to expand the reach of this program. If you or your organization are interested in collaborating, please contact us.

Connecting talent with opportunity

Our Job-Seeker Database is an innovative platform designed to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers within the CADAC community. This database lists available job opportunities alongside profiles of beneficiaries who have completed our vocational training programs. Employers can browse through these profiles to find qualified candidates, while beneficiaries can apply directly for job openings that match their skills.

  • Facilitate the employment of CADAC beneficiaries by connecting them with potential employers.
  • Provide a centralized platform for job matching and placement.
  • Track employment outcomes to continuously improve our vocational training programs.

  • For Job Seekers: Beneficiaries who have completed CADAC training programs can create a profile in the database, listing their skills, qualifications, and job preferences.
  • For Employers: Companies can post job openings and browse profiles to find suitable candidates.
  • For CADAC: We monitor the progress of each job seeker and provide additional support as needed, including interview preparation and job readiness training.

The Job-Seeker Database is currently in development. We anticipate launching the platform early next year, with the first wave of job placements expected shortly thereafter.
